As a seasoned geophysicist with over two decades of industry experience, primarily in the oil and gas sector, my career has been defined by a broad spectrum of project management roles. I possess a unique blend of leadership qualities, which have been instrumental in driving high-performing teams. My technical acumen in seismic interpretation is extensive, encompassing areas such as seismic inversion, Direct Hydrocarbon Indicator analysis, rock physics, and seismic forward modeling. I have also been at the forefront of integrating machine learning technologies into various aspects of geophysics, including seismic inversion, horizon interpretation, and well editing, setting new standards in the field.
Dr. Ali Naamani
Prof. Ken McClay
Prof. Ken McClay is a distinguished economic geologist with a background in Economic Geology from the University of Adelaide. He earned his MSc and PhD from Imperial College London and spent 27 years as a Professor of Structural Geology at Royal Holloway University of London. McClay directed the Fault Dynamic Research Group, focusing on quantitative scaled analogue models for fault and fracture development in Earth's upper crust. With over 190 publications, he supervised 62 PhD students and 32 postdoctoral researchers. In 2000, he received a DSc from the University of Adelaide for his contributions to Structural Geology and Tectonics research. Currently, he holds an Honorary Professorship at the Australian School of Petroleum, contributing to the Stress, Structure, and Seismic Research Group and the Petroleum Geoscience MSc program.
